Yes, the colours appear a bit warmer to me, which is what I decribe as natural. I love my colours that way. It’s more like looking outside than looking at the TV or ads in magazines. Well, I have spent good money to get an LED TV that has natural colours opposed to the oversaturated Samsung crap.

Does it have any other effect than making the Deck less of a mirror where I see myself while gaming?

I recently gave my 256 LCD away and got a 1TB OLED. I only see positives regarding the screen. Colors are crisp and very natural. The Wi-Wi Signal strenghts mightve dropped a bit I think.

There’s no harm in trying any distros. A full recovery of the Deck takes about 30 minutes including the creation of the Boot Medium. I did it just yesterday.
