Most sites that were hosted before 2010 are gone now.
I hosted a forum for guilds in several games I played over the years. I had mine up from 2005-2019 but my board’s php version got way behind the host‘a and it no longer works. Someday I will find someone to help me fix it, or start a new one.
The benefit to a forum is that posts with new comments move to the top. If a Reddit/Lemmy post gets a single new comment it may or may not be seen again by anyone except the OP or of the comment was a reply then to the op of the replied comment.
Some forums do have up/down votes as well as nested comments.
Looks more salmon to me.
mlem can do this.
It took me a while to switch from my Google home to a HomePod device, as I did not want to lose the screen.
Getting in trouble for upvoting restricted material. If you continually upvote stuff that reddit deems not allowed on the site you get banned.
Which should web you browser use
Format at first, then user base. I then found you could subscribe to subs and see only that stuff. That made it tolerable.
I tried to use Reddit for years and absolutely hated it. Finally after virtually every internet search for any question i had lead need too Reddit I decided to aquire a taste for it.
I am in the US so no idea is this will carry over and effect me here. I left android fully in 2023. I was using an iPad for work since 2018, and I never remember anything on Android working as well as AirDrop does on iOS/macos/tvos. Which was part of why I left Android.
If this WiFi aware works as well as airdrop I am down, but I have a feeling it will not.
