Uh, The Outer Worlds is quite different to Outer Wilds.
Uh, The Outer Worlds is quite different to Outer Wilds.
After I really enjoyed “The Outer Worlds” on my Switch, the first games I’m playing on my (only recently bought) Steam Deck are the Fallout FPS games. Finished Fallout 3 last week and am currently enjoying New Vegas.
If I interpret this toot correctly, there wasn’t a direct commit from a sanctioned region, but one developer was in one of those regions for a short while quite some time ago. And he may have been flagged because of this.
If you have battery drain, make sure you’ve disabled the option to regularly wake up and do some background processing (check for emails, sync photos, etc.). Settings → Battery → Options… → Wake for network access. (Or search for “Power Nap” in the System Sertings dialog.)
No need to use pmset
for that.
Ubuntu. Or, get a Mac - which is even more “boring”.
Try to enable “Game Mode” or “PC Mode” on your TV for that HDMI input. Also check the audio settings for supported formats and play around with the settings.
Also, what dock are you using?
You shouldn’t just “drop bash commands into it” anyways. And if you really need it, bash is only one bash
away.
By now, enough people have fish that you can basically assume those scripts being “portable”. Far better than nushell or xonsh - which are both pretty advanced shells but other tools lack support for them, e.g. Midnight Commander.
I’m using fish and the default is enough for anybody. 😁
What purpose should this fulfil? If you are unsure whether your command is correct, double-check it before hitting the ENTER key.
Most often you’re not the only person noticing a problem. If all the feedback they get from the various different users isn’t enough, they’ll ask for details. But they might not ask you, but one of the 999 other people with that error. So, getting an actual reply from them is like winning the lottery.
However, there’s always a status displayed which might change to “Fix implemented in future iOS version” (or something alike). You can read this as “thanks, archiving”.
Fun fact: If you notice a bug being fixed in an update, you can close the feedback items yourself. And you can even add something nice like “thanks for fixing” before closing it.
Yeah, 3DSes are expensive in Europe. I’m still angry at myself for not grabbing one for ~100€ when MediaMarkt/Saturn got rid of them.
It’s just that US carriers have partnered with Google to provide their RCS support.
Not sure if I’d call this “partnered”. AFAIK every carrier can provide their own RCS infrastructure via some data on the SIM. However, as Google wanted to push RCS, they’ve added a fallback to their own servers into the Android Messaging app. And I guess this then became somewhat of a “standard”.
And carriers are busy enough counting all that money we pay them, so they were happy to not having to do anything.
Wait until I tell you about all the small issues this zoo of devices brings with it… haha.

Unless you’re using outdated server software, there’s nothing inherently insecure with exposing ports to the Internet. Be it port 80 or 443. Just keep everything up to date and maybe add fail2ban to stop people poking around.
Even if you pay they have no incentive to get you to stop paying (i.e. find a partner).
Be aware that some countries make you liable for what people post on your forum.
Also, have you looked at Discourse? There are some nice apps that work with it and make the experience on mobile slightly better.
