Hm, that makes me think I should really go ahead and set up my own git-frontend, or at least check out all my git repos.
I’m a fan of local instances, like at least for a country and language.
I don’t know what it is, I went to the repo on github to read the readme, I still have no idea what it is. There is not a single sentence which explains what this is.
At the top it says it’s something for Lemmy, at least I know what Lemmy is, but most people don’t. So it might be a plugin, a theme, a frontend, an app, who knows.
Later it mentions apk, so perhaps it’s a android app, for phone or some car or other embedded devices?
Until now I only added new ones if I needed a specific app.
In F-Droid it’s possible to add aditional repositories. So a developer can have their own repository and F-Droid will show it in the shop, but the developer can handle everything about the backend themselves. To add repositories you need to do this yourself manually: https://f-droid.org/tutorials/add-repo/
Did you install F-Droid yet?
Fdroid nowadays is where I looks for apps first, only if I can’t find something suitable I go to the google play store.
Nice!
