So is RCS with E2E encryption illegal in the UK and Australia now?

Ah, great! So Apple will provide the platform and it will be interoperable with Google. I’m glad they fixed the protocol instead of everyone using Google’s servers.

I remember my parents saving up for a Mac Plus in 1986. Calculating the price, it would have cost $7487 in today’s currency, which blows me away… especially since only geeks owned a computer in 1986; it wasn’t considered anything but a luxury item in the home for most people.

So buying one of these today is like buying two Mac Pluses in 1986.

I’m not at all shocked, but that’s a pretty reasonable comparison.

Now if only I had USD$14k to spare….
