I disagree, as much as I wish it weren’t so. Compared to Linux from the perspective of this gamer, it does just work. I wish I could main Linux but I can’t handle any more critical boot issues or significant reductions in framerate. Not to mention that I cant easily auto-wol my lg tv “monitor” like I could from windows.

Thanks. I’ve watched some Synology reviews and everyone says to stay away from the less expensive Synology products due to their lack of expandability, and weaker cpu and ram. Not sure that applies to me though, if I’m just after Hyper Backup… I am nervous about placing an order and finding that some hardware requirements aren’t met or something.
