Does this update fix the ‘no sound through HDMI when docking’ issue that plagues both my official and third-party docks? These ports and plugs weren’t designed to handle my frustrated, high-rate plugging and unplugging, and I am so very tired.
Not officially listed on the patch notes. I’m on beta updates though and I’m not having that issue, so maybe it’s been fixed?
If you have Decky plugins installed it may be worth trying disabling them or uninstalling any you don’t use. I’ve noticed some issues with recent steam updates and some plugins, and it might be causing you issues.
If you run the install script it will let you uninstall Decky but leave your config/plugins intact. Then after you’re done testing you can run the installer again to have everything back how it was before.

Thought I was the only one with this problem. Wish everything would just work immediately when plugged in, but it doesn’t
Restarting with everything plugged in usually fixes that for me.
This is only the Steam client itself which gets updated independently of SteamOS.

Thanks! I will try disabling Decky plugins if I still have the issue.

I didn’t know that, thank you for mentioning it. That’s perfect.
