I recently Picked up a usb C microphone for making recordings on my phone. I’ve noticed that some devices detect it and use it automatically when plugged in, such as FUTO voice. And others, notably my camera app, the detection is not automatic and there’s no apparent way to change the microphone input.

Is there either:

  1. System settings that control the microphone
  2. A camera app that allows setting the input method (preferable FOSS)
  3. An app that can manage the system-wide audio inputs/setting (with or without shizuku)
  4. A better solution that I haven’t thought of?
