To be fair to you, the app still does not seem to pull it up, but instead of clicking the search button and it freaking out, telling me something went wrong, it just sits there and does nothing instead.
When I paste the URL from your instance, it tells me something went wrong. I went and found the original video on its original home instance and pasted that. And it just sits there and does nothing.
So a bit of a different problem, but still a problem all the same.
Right, now I’m just totally confused. Because the channel itself appears to be on tube.kockatoo.org But when I click the video, it brings me to the abnormalbeings.space domain
Wait a second. It seems like the domain itself doesn’t match the Federation. Did the domain change?
Considering the app is still like version 0.6.0, I’m guessing it’s a bug.
I haven’t confirmed this yet but apparently if you install the app from fdroid you don’t have to worry about that mess with the moderated instances like you would if you installed it from the Google or Apple stores
Well, that’s incredibly irritating. It’s a PeerTube instance, and I paste the link into the PeerTube app, and it fails.
Yeah, I’m not surprised considering the newest release is version 0.6.0. And it was released in January. The cake definitely needs some more baking time in the oven.
