Oh boy. Nope. My friends gonna have to fiddle with a VPN, forget exposing JF to the outside…
Oh the Quick Toggle has never, ever worked correctly. I hoped they fixed it after the UI refresh update but unfortunately not yet.
I know right? I was expecting “I will not buy Google again”, not “I will buy the more expensive model next time”…
Here’s the pictures since the article didn’t bother embedding them:
I don’t know why it looks different on every one, the article didn’t explain that either
I’m sure that if it was that simple people would be doing it already…
If you’re wondering if it’s really that bad, have this quote:
GNOME sysadmin, Bart Piotrowski, kindly shared some numbers to let people fully understand the scope of the problem. According to him, in around two hours and a half they received 81k total requests, and out of those only 3% passed Anubi’s proof of work, hinting at 97% of the traffic being bots
And this is just one quote. The article is full of quotes, people all over reporting their can’t focus on their work because either the infra they rely on is constantly down, or because they’re the ones fighting to keep it functional.
This shit is unsustainable. Fuck all of these AI companies.
What a terrible response, I sure hope he doesn’t have this attitude running the rest of the company
Google is continuing its work to split up Android’s notifications and Quick Settings panels.
Holy shit, can we stop copying this stupid feature from the iPhone???
Sure hope there’s a setting to keep both together (OneUI does this), I find the split panels so annoying
The Google Casting protocol is proprietary (and indeed the outage was caused because the system that verifies a receiver’s “legitimacy” broke down lol) so AFAIK there is no Open Source solution that can replicate the functionality. At least so far.
Couldn’t you just take a screen shot of the layout screen? Like this?
a benefit you don’t get with the official PS Portal device.
Man, what a half-baked product that Portal thing turned out to be eh?
It’s inconsistent, I still get it once in a while
Horrendous idea, sorry.
If anything making it exclusive would just make your average Joe resent SteamOS
always thought the S8 was the best looking phone
Same. The current Galaxy’s look nice but they never managed to capture that futuristic feel of the S8/S9
In one hand, it looks like a handheld camera, which is neat!
On the other hand, holy camera module batman! This looks impossible to hold in portrait mode comfortably. It must be so top heavy!
Lmao
